Let's Plan Your Next Road Trip

Custom road trips for real people who are busy, tired of scrolling, and ready to actually go.

What I Do

Planning a road trip sounds fun…until you’re 40 tabs deep in Google, TikTok, and Reddit and still don’t have a plan.

I’m Leo, the travel advisor behind Common Roads. I help you skip the overwhelm and go straight to the good part:

  • You tell me your dates, budget, and vibe
  • I build a custom road trip plan that feels like you
  • You get to just pack, show up, and drive

No complicated packages, no guilt if you’re not a “big traveler” yet. Just a realistic, well thought-out trip that actually fits your life.

Owner of Common Roads, Leo Longoria

Is Common Roads for You?

This is for you if:

  • You want a weekend or 14+ day adventure, but keep putting it off
  • You’re tired of doom-scrolling reviews and still feeling unsure
  • You like the idea of a road trip but don’t want to turn it into a logistics headache
  • You’d love someone to just say: “Here. This is where to go, where to stay, and what to do. You’re good”.

This is not for you if:

  • You enjoy spending hours researching and comparing every single option
  • You want a giant group tour or a fully escorted bus trip
  • You’re expecting a $10,000 luxury safari (that’s not my lane)

WEEKEND ROAD TRIP PLANNING SESSION

Custom Weekend Road Trip | Flat-Fee Planning

What you get:

  • 30-45 minute planning call (or detailed form review). We’ll talk about who’s going, where you’re starting from, budget, must-haves, and hard no’s.
  • A custom road trip itinerary (PDF)
    • Route overview with drive times
    • Lodging recommendations
    • Suggested stops: food, viewpoints, small towns, breweries, etc.
    • Optional add-ons: hikes, kid-friendly stops, or more relaxed pacing
  • Packing + prep tips tailored to your trip

Not just a generic checklist, but what truly matters for your route and season.

  • 1 round of tweaks

Once you’ve looked it over, you can request changes (e.g., swapping a town, changing the pace, etc.).

Once we’ve finalized all the details and turned that “someday” into actual dates on a calendar, I will book the trip.

Investment: $100 for planning + the cost of lodging and activities

How This Works

  1. You share your details
Fill out the trip planner form with your dates, starting point, budget range, and travel style.

  2. We align on the vibe
I’ll review your form and, if needed, we’ll hop on a quick call to clarify what you want this trip to feel like: slow + cozy, packed with activities, foodie-focused, kid-friendly, etc.

  3. I build your custom plan
I research routes, stays, and stops that make sense for you—not just what’s trending.

  4. You get your itinerary PDF
You’ll receive your weekend road trip plan by email, with everything in one place.

  5. I book + You go
I handle all the bookings using my recs, and when the time comes, you just get in the car and go.

Why People Like Working With Me

I didn’t become a travel advisor because I’ve been everywhere on earth.

I became one because:

    • I love road trips, especially the realistic ones that fit into real life
    • I’m good at research and organizing chaos into something simple
    • I know how it feels to want a break but have no mental energy left to plan it

My job isn’t to impress you with my passport.

My job is to think about your trip as carefully as I’d think about my own, and give you a feeling that it feels doable, exciting, and actually tailored to you.

If you’re overwhelmed, busy, or just tired of “maybe someday”, I built Common Roads for you.

Questions You Might Have

“What if I don’t know where I want to go?”

That’s fine. You can just tell me things like:

    • How far you’re willing to drive
    • What kind of scenery you like
    • Whether you’re more “brewery + food” or “hiking + sunrise” I’ll suggest routes that fit

“Do you only do weekend trips?”

Weekend and long-weekend trips are my specialty, but if you want something a bit longer, mention it in the form and we’ll see if it fits.

“What if my budget is small?”

No problem. I work with real-life budgets. We can focus on cheaper stays, smart food options, and free or low-cost activities.
